Description
Consuming plenty of water is essential to our well being. But what about the quality of the water we consume? Most of our tap water comes from our lakes and rivers.
Unfortunately our lakes and rivers have seen increased dumping of toxic industrial waste and untreated sewage over the years.
Our tap water is treated before it arrives at our home, but many of the toxic chemicals and trace elements are still present. One of the methods of treating water is the use of chlorine, which is itself a
known carcinogen (cancer causing substance).
Some people get their water from a well. This too is becoming difficult to ensure that quality is maintained. More and more toxins are finding their way into the water table and thus into peoples wells.
It is often quite difficult to determine where the contamination is coming from, thus making it very difficult to correct.
Distilled water is an excellent method of purifying water. Over 99% of all debris, bacteria and other contaminants are removed. You can purchase distilled water in bottles or you can install a water
distiller in your own home.
Benefits
The benefits of consuming clean pure water are great. Since we need to consume water in such large quantities on a continuous basis, drinking water that has been contaminated runs the risk of
developing a buildup of contamination in your body over time. This can lead to a variety of health problems.
Drinking clean pure water not only will eliminate the risk of contaminating your body, it will also help to clean up the contamination that has occurred so far.
Remember all cells in your body require adequate amounts of water to perform. So drink water often and make sure it is as clean and pure as possible.
